My journey to the love of handmade started many moons ago when I started making jewelry with whatever I could find at craft stores that I thought was pretty--and cheap. When I took my first lampworking class, I realized that I had been using sub-standard materials! I've learned that supporting other handmade artists also helps the local economies by keeping money in the hands of individuals and families--not corporations.
I've now moved to painting as my main creative endeavor, though I still make jewelry from time to time. All items in my shop are handpainted by me. I do not make reproductions, each item is it's own individual,one-of-a-kind piece!
Treat yourself to a piece that is handmade by the artist--there is something much more magical and meaningful about holding something that was created out of vision and passion!
